Which Featheredge vs Felt Log Store Roof Should You Choose?

If you prefer maximum rain protection and durability, then a felt roof is the better option.
Our Recommendation
At RA Garden Ideas, we currently produce all log stores with a featheredge roof as standard. This traditional option, combined with a 20° slope, ensures excellent rain run-off and long-lasting performance.
Some customers also request a felt roof, so we have added it as an alternative choice. We only use high-quality, durable felt, designed to provide strong, long-lasting protection against UK weather. Thanks to its waterproof surface, a felt roof can be fitted with a slightly shallower slope while still keeping firewood dry year-round.
Both roof types are reliable, giving you the flexibility to choose the look and performance that best suits your garden.
